This is the full acoustic session we did for my latest album Starbird (released on October 28th, 2022). This week marks the 1 year anniversary since its release!
The session was recorded on June 1st, 2022 at Halo Studio in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and was produced by Matt Peruscello and Roman Marcone. Filmed by Joel Saunders. It was a fast paced day with limited time and some logistical challenges with the filming meant I didn’t get to do as many takes as I would have liked. In fact, each performance here is pretty much a first take. Overall, it turned out not too badly considering the circumstances but my performances were rushed and not as dialled in I’d like. Ah well, that’s how it goes sometimes…
All in all, its a worthy compilation to share with you and I hope you enjoy!
