DISCLAIMER: I’m fully aware that I don’t play this song “correctly” or “like John” with the thumb and index finger only LOL relax… its okay… there can be different approaches to guitar technique. But I also realize that for some people it’s simply non-negotiable and how dare I even attempt to play this if I’m not gonna do it like him. I know… Blasphemy.
I uploaded a version of this great John Mayer tune many years ago but I thought I’d revisit it in better quality. Definitely a challenging track on many levels but super fun to play and sing. A couple speed wobbles in the solo section but I’d be doing takes all day and night if the aim was total perfection LOL! Simply too many spinning plates to balance, so I chose this take and I can live with it. Hope you enjoy!
