Stevie Ray Vaughan is a very special influence of mine. I’ve been listening to him since the very beginning when I started playing guitar almost 20 years ago. I was born only 4 days after he died and have always felt deeply connected to his music. I’ve been singing this song for many years so I thought I’d dust off my old crappy 12-string and give it a go. People keep asking for it as well so its nice to put some things to rest ;). This song was written by Doyle Bramhall and released a year or so after Stevie died on “The Sky Is Crying”. Although he played it live occasionally, its hard to believe he never put it on any of his previous albums. Brilliant song.
