Yes, I realize I look a little bit like John Mayer (and Daniel Tosh apparently)… and I make the same silly faces that he does… and I know that my voice is similar to his at times as well. For these reasons, I tend to stay away from his material because what’s the point when its not gonna be all that different from him doing it anyway. However I feel like I’ve changed this one up a bit and its just such a groovin’ song I wanted to try it out! Continuum is definitely my favourite album of his, although I am diggin his new stuff too. He totally struck gold when he recorded this album though and I’d like to pay my respects to his work. He’s one of the few incredibly successful and genuinely talented artists out there today, which is unfortunate but at least it can still be done. Hope you enjoy this version 🙂
